At the start of dust discharge the Telescopic chute is lowered close to the level where dust will stock pile. As the heap builds-up the chute is incrementally raised to ensure that the height of fall of the dust is minimum which results minimum dust generation. As annular suction hood provided around the bottom most pipe and connected through a flexible pipe to the nearest Bag filter suction point ensures that whatever small quantity of dust is generated at the discharge point is sucked-in and doesn't escape to the atmosphere. The control system for raising the chute incrementally can be manual push button operated or can be electronic sensor operated which senses the heap surface as it comes close to the chute. The main advantage of the Telescopic chute offered by EEPL is that it doesn't require any platform at the hopper level as is a must with other types of Telescopic chutes. It also doesn't require a long and clumsy rope, pulley, & rope drum arrangement to be installed on the Platform.
